1. You are asked to add two more pumps, this seems like a nice simple project if only they would wait till the spring! However……

2. You are still busy working on the two other projects that have managed to make it to your desk!

3. You put off making the site visit to check floor space for the switchgear addition.

4. The process engineer request’s speed control at the last minute.

5. Your suppliers give you all kinds of information on their standard product.

6. You realize that a small addition is needed to the building in order fit all the equipment in. Now if only the OEM standard transition cell was 6 inches smaller.

7. Your customer informs you that all switchgear must be being painted white on the inside, and all current transformer wiring must be yellow.

10. After falling off your chair, you get the budget back for the building addition and add it the cost of the project.

11. You realize the installation contractor is going to have extras because of the gaps in the information you have been able to provide. You make an allowance for this while crossing your fingers and preparing for the fight.

12. You submit your budget. They fall off their chairs and cancel the project.

13. You go back to those other projects; which have gone slightly off the rails while you went through this exercise.
